I like this way more. Textured, halftoned, changed the color palette, more retro. I need to add more dimension somewhere but if this is the final thing, I'm happy. I'll probably leave it alone for a while.
First draft. I'm having problems with this one. Illustration is 80% done. Halftones and textures are temporary. Color palette is semi-ok. I don't know. I'll probably figure out what I don't like about it over the weekend, and hopefully finish a second draft. Basically, this is me trying to chase summer. I'm psyched to spend winter in London but I'm a beach girl to the core. I don't do well in the cold. Anyway, here's a summer-all-year-round movie recommendation: The Endless Summer II. Full movie after the cut haha because I swear by this movie!
Illustration number 2 in the series! All first drafts. I illustrated details of the outfit which was referenced throughout the song. Link to the song after the cut. No Peter Gabriel, sorry!
Is your bed made? / Is your sweater on? / Do you want to f***? / Like you know I do
I illustrated a classic December song, Horchata by Vampire Weekend. I know there's a week left before December but I'm just so psyched because I'm leaving for London soon. Horchata is a yummy Mexican drink so I decided to make a recipe poster. Hope you find it cute because I enjoyed doing it. :) Link to the song after the cut.
Samuel L. Jackson as Jules Winnfield in Pulp Fiction. Probably my favorite of the series. One of the first ones I made. I just quickly texturized it so he can hang out with his new textured friends, Luther and Dr. Strange
An old drawing, recovered, and retextured. Second draft, still have some issues with it. Thinking of making a Rey Mysterio one and a Nacho Libre one so that this Lucha won't be an only child.
